Food Events for a Good Cause in NYC: Eat Well and Be Charitable — June events

This summer, foodies can take a night out on the town all while supporting their favorite cause at one of NYC’s many benefit events. Enjoy delicious food and drinks while making a difference for great organizations such as the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Food Bank for New York City, Central Park Conservancy, and many more.




Events happening in June include:

Wednesday 6/22

Evening in the Garden: Spend a perfect evening among the beautiful summer blooms of the Conservatory Garden from 6pm-8:30pm while supporting the conservation of a place near and dear to all New Yorker’s hearts. Enjoy the special performance by The Old Rugged Sauce while indulging in NYC favorites including guacamole stations, taco stations, and frozen margaritas from Rosa Mexicano; cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery; and wine selections from the Naked Grape. Tickets are $50 in advance and $75 at the door.

Thursday 6/23

3rd Annual A Night of Hope: Make a toast to the 11 million survivors of cancer this year in America on the private penthouse of the CityView Racquet Club in Long Island City, Queens. Let the panoramic views of the New York City skyline take your breath away while enjoying outdoor deck dancing, an auction, and most importantly wine. Taste whites such as Chateau Ste. Michelle Chardonnay and Villa Maria Sauvignon Blanc and reds such as 14 Hands Merlot and Sangiovese. Make sure to try the brut toast courtesy of Domaine Ste. Michelle as well as spirits and beer offerings. The event is from 6pm-10pm and tickets are $75.

Saturday 6/25

Caribbean Night Benefit Dinner: Support The Haiti Education Alliance (THEA) in providing educational opportunities to impoverished children and adults in Haiti while enjoying authentic Caribbean cuisine, non-alcoholic tropical island drinks, live music, educational displays, and a silent auction. Bring the entire family to this festive event from 4pm-8pm where kids will also enjoy special activities and take home crafts. Tickets are $40 per guest and $15 per child or $75 per couple.
